Indonesian Fried Yam fritters



** my lovely kids were helping me making this snack.. my way to introduce our toddlers
eat different kinds of vegetables..they cook it, see it and want to eat it ***
Ingredients:
* 1 medium yam ( sweet potato )
* 1 cup flour
* 1 cup water
* 4 tablespoon sugar
* 1/4 tsp salt
* orange food color
* oil to fry

Method:
- Remove yam (sweet potato ) skin, then cut it in thin slices into around shape. set aside
- preparing batter, in a bowl add flour, water, sugar, salt and food color. whisk the batter until no more lump
- then add slices yam ( sweet potato ) in the batter. mix well so yam cover with batter
- heat the oil in frying pot. then pour yam batter into the hot oil, fry them until golden brown for about 5 minutes 
depending on your cooking stove.
- serve while warm with some coffee or tea.
