Dadar gulung ( indonesian crepes with coconut filling )
Ingredients: A
- 2 cup flour
- 2 1/2 cup ovavorate milk
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 pk vanilla sugar
- 4 tablespoon oil
- 1 tsp salt
- food color
filling: B
* 300 gr coconut shredded
* 150 g indonesian palm sugar
* 3 tablespoon water
* 1 tsp vanilla
* 1/2 tsp maizena
* 1 tablespoon sugar
* pitch salt
Instruction:
-Heat pan in low heat. cook coconut shredded with palm sugar, water, vanilla, maizena, sugar and pitch of salt
- keep stir until palm sugar get melt and coconut turning brown. let it cook for few minutes
- Meantime preparing for crepes, mix ingredient A in bowl and whisk well so no lumps in flour
- start making the crepe, use non stick pan and brush with little oil around the pan
- pour little bit crepe batter in the pan and let cook
- then place the crepes with coconut filling in the middle. close both side and roll up until end.
