Pindang ikan red mullet


Ingredients:
* 3 fish of red mullet 
* 3-4 tablespoon oil
* 3 gloves garlic
* 2 shallots
* 1 cm ginger
* 1 cm galange
* 2 candle nuts ( if you cann't find .....cook w/out it )
* 1 lemon grass
* 2 bay leaves
* 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
* 1 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp pepper
* 1/4 tsp sugar 
* 1/2 cup tamarind w/liquid
* 1 1/2 cup water
* 2-3 scallion
* 1 long red chilli

Instruction:
- fry the red mullet until brown for both side
- Mean while, blend all ingredients : garlic, shallot,ginger, galangale, candle nut in food processor until smooth
- Heat 4 tablespoon oil in pan , add the paste, turmeric powder, bay leaves, lemon grass, salt, pepper, sugar for at least 5-7 minutes
- add tamarind liquid & water to the sauce . let it until cooking
- Cut scallions & red chilli, pour it to the sauce and also frying fish about 10 minutes w/ low heat
- eat with rice and while still hot.
