Sfenj ( Moroccan doughnut )


Ingredients:

* 3 cup flours
* 1 tablespoon yeast
* 1/4 tsp salt
* 1 1/4 cup water
*  oil for frying

garnish to serve:
* Honey or syrup
* Confection sugar

Instruction:
- Dissolve yeast w/ 3 tablespoon warm water and let rest for 5 minutes
- after 5 minutes, mix the flour, yeast, salt & water with your hand until together almost too sticky to work with it
- let the dough rest at least 4 hours or more depend on your room temperature, cover the dough with fabric 
until almost double or triple the size
- To fry : in wide a pot, heat oil until hot enough to fry , test the oil w/ wood stick or drop little dough
- shape the dough with your hand ( it will sticky so use oil on your hand to shape) and make hole in the middle with your finger
- fry sfenj until golden brown for both side 
- serve w/ honey
